The actor was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. for her performance as Muriel Pitchett, a character from 1988's drama The Unintentional Tourist, the actress earned an Academy Award. She was a character played by a woman in Beetlejuice (1988) the American comedy/horror film written and directed by Tim Burton. Virginia Elizabeth Geena Davis is a prominent American activist and actress. Davis received many accolades both for her work on screen and on television. Her work was noted for her portrayal of authentic strong female characters and for her advocacy for women working in the field. At a young age, Davis became interested in the field of music. When she was in her teens Davis was able to play the piano as well as flute. Davis was an undergraduate at Wareham High School, and she stayed for a year living in Sweden in exchange. The youngest daughter of Italian parents Barry and Josie Nelson. She is the youngest of three siblings, Nathan, Neal and Nick. She was raised by her parents living in Concord California. As a young girl, she longed to be an elite soccer player, however in 2002 she suffered an injury to her ankle during her senior year of high school. Following her recovery from the injury, she went on to play as a striker in Pleasant Hill California at Diablo Valley College where she earned an associate's diploma in Art. Following her achievement of Junior College All-American Honors, she was enrolled at Arizona State University. There doubts about her character led her to abandoning soccer. Then she went to California State University Fullerton where, with an MBA degree and minoring in Human Resources She graduated with an Associate's Degree. She moved to Los Angeles after completing her studies in order to pursue a modeling or acting career. When she was searching for a job, she found the casting call for W.W.E. The woman was able to impress the talent scouts and get a 4-week test period after she stumbled across it on accident. Her move from Florida was to Orlando to start the training. In May 2013 she joined The Total Divas W.W.E show, a reality T.V. show. Then she dyed her red hair and wore the name of ring Eva Marie. W.W.E. went through many changes and ups.
